#2. Madhuri Dixit’s 10 kg lehenga, which she wore in Devdas
For one of the scenes in the film, Devdas, Madhuri Dixit had worn a real mirror-work lehenga which weighed 10 kg. In 2019, the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla revealed the details of the lehenga. They shared that it had taken two months and an entire team of highly skilled artisans to complete the ensemble. The same lehenga had also travelled to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, where it was a part of the exhibition, The Fabric of India 2015.

However, not many know that the gorgeous diva wore about 400 kg of gold and semi-precious stone, which were moulded to recreate her jewellery. According to multiple reports, it took 200 craftsmen, who worked for 600 days to recreate her ornaments inspired from the Mughal era.
